In the 70's and 80's author, Jim Remington, did volunteer work for three Presidents: Ford, Bush and Reagan. Jim had 42 assignments over 13 years with eight of them in foreign countries. The book is not political but rather a series of stories about humorous events that happened to these famous people as I witnessed them. Things like Ford biting down on a tamale at the Alamo without taking off the corn shuck wrapper first. He had never eaten a tamale. Or Mrs. Bush short sheeting a secret service man's bed in Miami. These events provided an opportunity for the principals to laugh at themselves and tries to give insight into their personality.
